Product Description
JBS-12 is a unique high performance, synthetic formulation designed to specifically exceed the service requirements of extreme conditions. High temperatures accelerate the oxidation process. In combination with high discharge pressures, the oil begins to form varnish and sludge as the compressor struggles to operate under these conditions. The end result is lost productivity and short oil drain intervals.
JBS-12 has met the challenge under actual field conditions with over 8,000 hours of service and beyond in high temperature applications. It has also become the preferred choice for many oil-flooded rotary screw air compressors operating under more conventional ranges. Drain intervals of 12,000 hours can reasonably be expected under normal operating conditions.
In all circumstances, any extension of oil drain intervals should rely on a competent used oil analysis service as part of a comprehensive preventive maintenance program. JBS-12 is compatible with all non-silicone based O.E.M. lubricants on the market today.
