JBS was selected based on referrals to furnish and install a new 10” natural gas main for the Electrolux-Springfield facility. This project was extremely time-sensitive as the conversion had to occur over a planned shutdown during the Christmas holiday. The project included the installation of 500’ of 10” HDPE piping underground and 150’ of 10” steel piping over the roof of the facility. The final tie-ins had to be performed on the roof during a heavy snowfall.

The project scope included natural gas demand engineering analysis, structural engineering for the roof supports, and the installation of natural gas metering stations. JBS worked with the local gas utility to complete the project on-time.
