History

From our beginnings as a metalwork shop to the wide range of services we now offer, JBS has been a fixture in the community since 1900.

1900

John Bouchard moves to Nashville, opening a machine and metalwork shop on Harrison Street.

In 1925, the fire-sprinkler department is launched. It will go on to grow dramatically during the WWII years.

1925

1940s

Surviving the Great Depression, JBS continued to expand its services through the WWII years.

Expanding on 40 years of experience in pouring foundry products, JBS builds a new foundry facility.

1963

1991

JBS enters the plant compressed air market, providing complete compressed air systems and round-the-clock service.

Today, JBS continues its longstanding tradition of building and sustaining infrastructure with excellence.
