JBS acquires key assets of Independent Machining, LLC

To offer our customers expanded CNC machining services, JBS has acquired key assets of Independent Machining, LLC and hired its founder, James Disney. This CNC milling and turning equipment complements our full-service machine shop, which is one of the most comprehensive service & repair centers in the region.

James Disney founded Independent Machining, LLC in 2009, and has successfully grown the business to serve commercial and industrial customers in the food & beverage, manufacturing, entertainment, automation and other industries. Independent Machining’s commitment to precision parts, courteous service and on-time delivery has gained loyal customers over the past 12 years.

In 1900, John Bouchard & Sons Co. was founded as a machine shop in Nashville. While times and technology have changed, our commitment to quality workmanship and expert service remains the same. This investment into additional CNC machining capabilities at our original, expanded shop location is the next step in the Company’s innovative evolution, as our employees build & sustain the hardworking infrastructure of modern industry.
